In 1962 the famous UFO photograph placed Alex on the World stage of photography.

It has been one of the most publicised shot of its kind in photographic history, still used by magazines, TV, book publishers, and documentary film makers, and by World Governments, also by one famous science fiction film.

Alex has appeared on TV Shows, Documentary Films, Radio Shows, and has appeared in centre fold articles within magazines regarding his UFO experiences over the 49 year period.

Being one of the famous 15 investigated by the US government in Project Blue Book otherwise known as the X Files, which eventually was turned into a TV series called  THE X FILES the program included characters named Scully and Mulder, it was viewed World Wide

Alex holds the distinction of being the only person in history to be interviewed in Whitehall at the MOD twice, for two separate photographs of UFO's and also to have both photographs scrutinised by top Government photographic analysts, with written detailed reports.

In the latest National Archives book Alex 1962 photo is shown both inside and on the back cover of that publication, the work was written by Dr Dave Clarke called THE UFO FILES copies can be purchased at http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

His early involvement within press photography as a freelance gave him the opportunity to cover many important news events.

Alex now takes photographs for his own personal pleasure, always signing them 'brann' being his grandparents name from his mothers side - he is passionate about the environment and our planets wildlife, and gives his photographs to wildlife charity.

He writes regular letters to MP's and high profile persons to gain support for certain charities, and to highlight the disaster of Global Warming, which in his words 'brings us all to the final precipice'

Now some 49 years later one of his family have also made their mark within the realms of photography - his grandson Thomas who recently won the Junior title of dog portrait champion of 2007-2008, his award was presented to him in London and his work will be used for major venues within the dog world and shown at Crufts.
