Can the most hardened sceptic still maintain that UFO's do not exist - an examination into this perplexed question reveals that there is more than one answer!
If a single UFO case could be shown to be based on fact and concrete evidence - there would be no UFO problem - the enigma would then be based on solid foundations and scientific fact, which would mean investigations could be left to run the normal course and analysis.
I sincerely believe we are looking in the wrong direction entirely for answers, if these objects were 'spacecraft' from other galaxies why have they not evolved in shape? even our humble automobile of the 1960's looks antique to the modern car of today - why have the objects stayed the same in shape? although some might argue that our time frame is not the same as the UFO's, and in reality our 50 years could be only 50 seconds or even 5 seconds to them.
Perhaps instead of our society sadly labelling this phenomena as 'Alien Spacecraft' which in turn gives a label to anyone declaring an encounter of one of these objects as 'Nut Case' or 'Hoaxer' we might then classify these encounters as 'UFO Phenomena' and accept that they are real - it would give incentive to anyone of merit within the scientific community to undertake a proper extensive research into the matter - as it is now no one wishes to undertake such an investigation in the public domain because it would be a detriment to any professional career, and no one wishes to wear such a label of association to these UFO's and nutcases - and that reality is something I can understand - in reflection to my own history of a lifetime of continued ridicule and slander directly due to my 1962 UFO photograph taken at Mosborough nr Sheffield.
I am therefore certain that the concept of Alien Visitors to this planet by means of 'Flying Saucers' is continued and kept alive by a small commercial fraternity within the UFO industry, after all if it was proven that these objects were merely some sort of energy (that we yet do not understand) who would buy the UFO & Alien Video's and DVD's and the many publications written about the subject, or indeed the many other trappings or trinkets of this multi million pound industry - I think very few!
Yet the involvement of Governments to this enigma create even more anomalies - why should any government wish to create departments and in-depth investigation into these reports by mostly normal everyday people - that question can only be answered by the stark fact that the governments must know that these objects exist - why spend large amounts or create massive budgets to fund such investigations?
My recent involvement with the MOD and their scientific analysis departments have proven without any shadow of doubt that they know that UFO's really exist, to compound this fact they have through higher direction allowed the release of a number of files regarding UFO's (they state all the files) but I can verify that not all UFO files and investigations are to be made transparent and available through the freedom of information act - the ploy was ensued to take the heat off.
My visit to the MOD with Andy Roberts in 2004 after I had been invited by Linda Unwin from room 6/73 procured both Andy and Dave Clarke to other meetings within the MOD which eventually led to release of some UFO files - we therefore must take the view that the MOD have used this arrangement as a fulcrum to catalyse the false perception that all has been revealed and in essence there is no UFO enigma within the MOD as such, and all is transparent!
Regarding my own cases both from the 1962 incident and the recent 2004 incident which both have been investigated by the MOD although the 2004 photograph has been in my view scrutinized scientifically by every possible means available to the MOD and other scientific labs, and I am assured not all the information regarding this file will be released in full within this batch of UFO reports declared by room 6/73 at the MOD.
Why you may ask is this so? the faceless directors within this shrouded government department know that the continued 'Fob Offs' needed to keep speculation and inquiry away from them would be easily done by releasing certain files for public viewing, the added advantage of having liaison and requests to do this from two of the UK's most well known UFO sceptics being Andy Roberts and Dave Clarke - would be a moment not to be missed, it would add a reason and verification to the whole scenario - unfortunately for the Government it is only a temporary deviation, and a small flash in the pan for information to both Dave Clarke and Andy Roberts - the real unclassified cases will be archived away for decades to come as they have always been - in complete secrecy!

The UFO Paradox!
Many believe that UFO's originate from beyond the Earth, perhaps beyond our solar system, could it be possible that these objects are all in our mind? and the true significance is in reality born within mans own subconscious? the psychologist Carl Gustav Yung developed a theory of 'Collective Unconscious' basing much of his work on 'Archetypes' - vastly significant symbols or motifs and figures that seem to carry much the same meaning to everyone - he stated that these are liable to rise spontaneously from the very depths of our subconscious anytime, and manifesting themselves into any human creation and evoking powerful emotional and imaginative responses -Religion; Mythology; Ancient and Primitive Ritual; and the Occult systems like Alchemy; and Astrology and much more.
Jung believed that one of thee archetypal images could have been a disc - of which the UFO was a variant, in other words Jung suggested that UFO's were no more than these myth- or collective projections from mans inner subconscious.
Yet we cannot portray a camera or radar or even infra red capturing equipment as having a subconscious to project these images onto a medium of either emulsion film or digital sensors, we must conclude that not all photographs or even radar detection are the elusive and genuine UFO born from some unknown dimension or even outer space, indeed most sightings or photographic evidence have a genuine explanation - yet there is a percentage of both witness and photographic capture that cannot be explained within our technology today - there is in reality 'No Clarification'
The involvements of governments, or even their lack of involvement is a further fascinating aspect of the UFO mystery, so as we understand it the absence of any real UFO that can be touched or examined leaves us only a mass of evidence in the form of photographs, a handful of movies or witness statements, it is a sad fact that a percentage of these are undoubtedly fake, those with good credentials are nearly always blurred or taken at great distance, all this adds to the problem even more!
Why in this age of computer designed lenses, fast emulsions and large digital sensors enabling photographs to be blown up to a massive size without loss of resolution, is there not a clear and well defined photograph of one of these UFO's in existence.
A friend of mine who is a very well known photographer takes photographs at air shows, some of these aircraft are travelling at great speed but he captures the photograph easily getting marvellous results with crisp definition, his camera has predictive focus enabling him to catch the moment with ease.
I believe that the very essence of there not being a good photograph of this phenomena must lead us to the stark fact that UFO's might be some sort of unknown or not yet discovered energy, or even a portal into the very fabric off space or time - photographing lightning is a clear example and when such recordings are examined in close up nearly all have blurred undefined edges to the picture - then again perhaps as some believe - they are indeed visitors from outer space - there is no doubt UFO's are here, the only question is what are they?
It was 1962 and I had just got a Kodak Brownie 127 camera for a present from my auntie, I was lucky or you can say Unlucky enough to get a shot of a formation of UFO's over a field at the back of my parents house in Mosborough Sheffield England.
The photograph lives on, and is still published somewhere World-Wide almost everyday, be it through television, magazines, video documentaries, books, or magazines. or indeed government files including the USA military archives.
I have not managed to equal that feat on any other photograph I have taken in the last 46 years - it is also a FACT that myself and my family or close friends and even independent persons who were close by at the time have seen these strange phenomena we call UFO's - some times in very close proximity.
The opportunity of taking another photograph of a UFO never presented itself to me ever again - until 2004 when I photographed a UFO in close proximity, I consider this shot to be one of the greatest photographs of my life and probably the greatest UFO photograph in regards to static documentary evidence ever taken - compounded by the fact that it has been placed within an investigation of great magnitude by both the Ministry of Defence of the UK and the Scientific fraternity of Universities and independent laboratories for over 4 years, and can be classified as a UFO.
